Announcement of the conclusion of the fourth plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Iran
We hereby announce that the Fourth Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Iran was held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, with the participation of members of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Iran, as well as a number of comrades from the Central Committee of Komala and the Committee of the Abroad Organization of the Party, who had been invited as observers.
The plenum began with the singing of The Internationale and one minute of silence in memory of those who lost their lives in the path of freedom and socialism.
The agenda of the plenum consisted of:
- Political and organizational report of the Party Executive Committee to the plenum
- Review of several internal party resolutions and decisions
- Division of responsibilities and duties among members of the Party Central Committee
The political report of the Executive Committee, after incorporating the considerations of the comrades participating in the plenum, was unanimously approved as a party document that will serve as the basis of our work until the next plenum. This report will be publicly published.
In the final part of its work, the plenum appointed comrades Sarveh Naseri, Ebrahim Alizadeh, Farshid Ghaffarnezhad, Fereydoun Nazeri, and Assad Rostami as the Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Iran.
